Home Boarding

A safe haven for your pets, while you're away

We began this very popular extension to the business in 2012. Gus adores other dogs and are very hospitable to our doggy guests! The home boarding is mainly run by my retired Mum, Barbara, and Sister, Natalie.

Only a small number of dogs can stay at any one time for safety reasons and to provide more quality time for your dogs. It means there is less risk of any disagreements between guests, also more time can be dedicated to each dog who comes to stay. Any amount of time is catered for, from a few hours while you shop in town, to a number of days or weeks.

T’s and C’s

*We only allow dogs over a year old to board with us. This is an agreement within our boarding license*

*We are only taking on small sized dogs at present*

*Fully licensed by Ashford Borough Council, to board dogs in our home*

Our house

The dogs will have 24 hour access to the spacious kitchen which leads onto the snug (complete with doggy sofa!) and of course the large, fully secured garden throughout the day. The home boarding service includes a 45 minute country walk per day (or any regime you require). There is access to vast open fields, woodland and orchards, all of which are a two minute walk from the house.

Country walks

It is advised that you bring your pet’s bedding, a favourite toy perhaps (although we do have a toybox especially for the dogs!) or anything familiar that may make them settle better. Also, very importantly to bring their own food and treats as any sudden changes to their diet can make them ill. Any special diets and/or medication can be catered for.

Viewings are most welcome. It would be a good idea for your dogs to meet Gus and Ozzy beforehand just so we are completely satisfied the dogs will all get along and also so that they can get familiar with their new surroundings. It is required that you bring records of their vaccinations and their vet details, also to make sure they are wormed and de-flead.
